Crash with Client on MacOS ... perhaps after disconnecting

My Mac has been crashing hard *after* I use the VirtualHere client. I've only noticed it when I'm finished with actively using the client. This is under Mojave which has been working well otherwise.

I don't have a reproducible test case. . It's anecdotal, but I'm pretty sure it's related to the client losing network or shutting down in some way. it happened last night and I was pretty sure that I had disconnected the VH server ... and think I may have quit the Client.

I saved the Apple crash log. Would you be able to use that info or is it noise? Let me know if this would be helpful and if you want me to post it, email it, etc.

When this has happened in the past, I thought it was related to the Mac sleeping, but in this case I know it wasn't. Might be more than one issue.

Might have still been conncected to a device and/or server

Pretty sure for this last crash I received the warning about the device still being connected to client.

I did not worry about that because the application that uses that virtual USB was no longer running.

.

When you say crash hard, I think you mean you saw a panic? If so could you take a look in Finder->Console->Library Logs Diagnositics Reporter. Paste the first 20 or so lines in here for the latest crash

The machine rebooted itself.

The machine rebooted itself. Upon reboot there was a window with the crash log:

There are a lot of Diagnostic

There are a lot of Diagnostic logs and hard to find one that is a match.

FYI, the console app is under the Utilities subdir.

Just happened again. 100% sure I was connected to the USB device when I stopped VH Client under OSX

Michael
.

Im not going to fix it anyways, so just stop using before you exit the client as the workaround.
