Just made the purchase of this great software. I find it mandatory to support developers of software that is this much useful. The server is running on my home mini Linux server (ubuntu server OS) with few of the USB devices like HUB and two external HDD drives. All has been hidden except an USB license dongle that I hope to no longer need to carry with me wherever I go. Sharing this dongle works perfectly on my laptop. But I also with to use it from time to time at my second computer.
The option to kick the user works great. But I am missing just one option. The device is selected as "Auto-Use Device". But when I kick a user from second computer the device does not auto reconnects on my side. Let me explain in more details.
The desired procedure would be. On both computers (ex. client 1 and client 2) option "Auto-Use Device" is selected. But if client 1 powers on and will see that USB device is used on client 2 it would do nothing but wait for it to be available again or I force kick the user on client 2. When I select "Disconnect From User" on client 1, it should auto use the device. On client 2 the Auto-Use Device should still be used but not until the client 1 disconnects or again I kick client 1 user. I hope this desired way is understandable. Basically the device should be used all the time by one of the devices. If I power on client 1 and client 2 at same time, the first one that starts should use the USB device on server. As soon as I stop using the license it should automatically be used on client 2 if it is turned on and option "Auto-Use Device" is selected. Both clients are installed as system service so both have admin rights to kick each other.
Can this be made in such way or maybe it is already working with some special parameters?
Another sub question. Is it possible later one to change 3 device license to unlimited and how much would that cost?

Im glad you find the software useful...regarding the change, at the moment there is only support to kick a user off a device from another client. Your change is too custom for your setup so i cant implement it sorry... my suggestion is to just not use auto-use on one of the clients..

Hello. Problem is that if I kick a user the auto-use gets deselected. It should stay selected and reconnect as soon as device is available or kick is issued. Can you implement just this? I am sure it would be very useful to many users.

OK, i figured out a way to do it. If you have two clients who are auto-using the same device and you kick the other one off, the local one will now grab the device. Update to client 4.1.1 with this change.

Perfect! It is working just as desired. On both 4.1.1 clients I have option Auto-Use for the device. When I kick user from second client I will automatically mount the device and on client 2 I can see that it used on client 1. If I kick user on client 2, client 1 will grab the device automatically.
