VirtualHere on El Capitan 10.11?

Hi there,

I just bought a brand new Synology NAS Disk Station and happily found a link to your software. It would drastically improve working around the house if I would be able to share a single dongle from my NAS. What a great piece of software!

However, after installing I have no luck getting Cubase to recognize my eLicenser dongle. After searching your forum, I noticed that since more than 2 years, support for El Capitan is only partial and only works with flash disk devices.

I saw that software like Flexihub and "USB Network Gate" do this without any difficulties. I can share all my devices connected to an android or mac computer. What seems to be the hurdle with VirtualHere? Is it mainly patented code?

and thanks for the quick refund by the way ;) - I'd be happy to buy your license again if the software ever works!

Hi, yeah apple officially removed support for 3rd Party USB controllers in 10.11 and i specifically did not want to do any hacks or workarounds so i pulled supported in 10.11 of virtualhere. Apple then unofficially added support back in for virtualhere in 10.12.1 and it worked well. In 10.12.2 apple then officially added support back in however since then they have got bugs in osx that have crept in and now make it unreliable in 10.12.5+ so im waiting for apple to fix those bugs...
