W10 client not working or driver problem?

Hi,

I cant get VirtualHere to work :(

Situation:
- VirtualHere server for Android.
- Windows 10 client (As a service).

If I run VirtualHere client gui I can see the hub and the attached devices. But windows itself does not see any device. One thing to note is that the client says "(In use by you)" after the devices. It might be something with the driver, since on the Device Manager it appears with exclamation:

"""'
This device is not present, is not working properly, or does not have all its drivers installed. (Code 24)

Windows did not start a related device driver. To learn more, click the Driver tab and then click Driver Details.
"""

Any help is appreciated :(

Can you tell me what type of device you are trying to use via VirtualHere?

#3

A Xbox wireless Adapter for Windows connected to a Shield TV with license.

#4

I have no idea but the client got broken with the last W10 Update.

FYI
I tried to run it with W8 compatibility mode and it worked.

#6

Update: With W8 compability mode, drivers install properly, device recognized by W10 but cant start the device (code 10).

1. Don't run with win8 compatibility it will not work

2. Try to pair the controller directly in windows (without using VirtualHere at all) then once its paired OK then try via VirtualHere. There might be some firmware update it needs in the windows update

I already did that, connected the adapter and paired a controller on W10. I also tried connecting a PS4 DS by USB (which is recognized by my pc) and didnt work either. It might be something about the VirtualHere hub driver.
