Client Driver installation failed on macOS, cant get it to re-install

Im running the virtualhere server on my Synology, that works fine. Installed the client on my mac (macOS 10.14.x) and when I tried to use my look, it asked me to install the macOS drivers, which I tried, it failed because of the gatekeeper feature, I then went to system preferences and allowed it, but the installation had already failed. No matter what I do, I cant get it to try re-install the macOS driver. If I select use on the iLok in virtualhere, it works and says its being used my me, but I cant open any programs that need it, telling me its not actually working. What can I try?

Ive tried completely removing the client software and rebooting but to no avail

Ok, that was short-lived. It works sometimes and sometimes not. iLok license manager doesn't see it, I then stop using the Look, then iLok license manager sees that's its been unplugged, but couldn't see it when it was. Then I use the look again and iLok license manager freezes until I stop using the iLok. Any ideas?
Im not using a hub, its plugged directly into the Synology

Yeah im going to pull support for osx, i cant be bothered, it was working fine but apple is breaking too many things

Surely there's enough interest from Mac users to keep it going? Or not? As a Mac user who wants to use a Synology as the server VH is the only option I have, as far as I can tell. And VH is WAY better priced compared to a few others.

Its not me, its apple, they are abandoning mac users basically. So they are going to block third party drivers from me and most other vendors so complain to apple if you want to see software like virtualhere supported in the future.
