"Code 10" Error trying to send a direct-input type flight controller across VirtualHere

Hi there, I've used VirtualHere a couple of times long ago with success. However I'm now trying to connect to a new joystick / button box across VirtualHere. I'm hosting it on a Mac (10.15.6) and trying to connect to it from a Windows 10 machine.

When I try to connect, I'm getting a "This device cannot start (Code 10)" error. I've dug into this quite a bit today and can't seem to get any other result. I did do a couple of Usblyzer captures and I've emailed them to mail [at] virtualhere.com (mail[at]virtualhere[dot]com) (is that correct?). I am a software developer and microelectronics hobbyist - so I'm conformable doing any tracing and / or digging or really anything that might help. I am not particularly familiar with USB, however, and I'm not sure how to interpret these traces. Any pointers or help would be appreciated!

The two traces I sent are one capture when connecting the device via VirtualHere and the other tract is when connecting the device directly to the Windows 10 computer.
