Webcam connected to Android Hub is not showing in Windows Client

My creative live cam sync 1080p is connected to an android box but is not showing in the windows client. I have succesfully connected a wireless keyboard to the same Android box and I am seeing the message from Android VirtualHere server when I connect the webcam to force the openning of the app.

Please advise

Thank you in advance

Its not related to VirtualHere.

Its a bug in Android, it might or might not be fixed by google I dont know. You can see the status here https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/145082934

They say its fixed in later updates of Android 10, however ive heard that some versions of Android 11 also have this bug

Indeed, I have the same problem with android 11.

Oh, I see, I managed to find a workaround for this. I've plugged the webcam on Steam Link device and I disabled Video and Sound Remote play. Then I've used AMD Link from my Tv Box to connect to the pc. And the webcam appears in the steam link hub. The only thing now that is a bit annoying happens when I am stopping remote play. This action also terminates the VirtualHere client. Is any way to forbid this behavior when Steam Link stops remote play?

No, it seems like you should use a pi instead or something that you have better control of. A Steam Link is setup just for steam so you cant run virtualhere server when steam is not running.
