Logitech G923 Racing/Gaming Wheel

I'd like to use a Logitech G923 Gaming Wheel with VirtualHere and a remote Cloud Gaming Service.
My Client is a Mac Mini with M1 Chip running macOS 11.6.

When I connect the wheel to my Mac mini (doesn't matter whether it's connected directly or via an USB hub), it gets forwarded and reacts to it, but on the remote server it appears as "Xbox Gaming Device" with an yellow exclamation mark symbol.
Opening the properties shows the following error:

„This device cannot start. (Code 10)
STATUS_DEVICE_POWER_FAILURE“

The VirtualHere Server Log shows:
Thu Sep 30 07:06:47 2021 LOG_INFO Device 34873344 [046d:c26d] BOUND to connection 1

I dont have that wheel to test with so im not entirely sure, but my guess it needs to be initially plugged into a pc running g-hub (and running virtualhere server) and that uploads firmware or sets it to its expected mode then it can be passed through. Therefore i dont think you can use a mac as the usb server.
