Hi, just trialling the software and starting the server on Server 2019 causes instant crash, if run with compatability as win 8 it runs ok--oh and tried as admin as well but no go there either.

I found where its crashing and it seems to be a windows bug. I can reproduce it in windows 2019 and so i searched on Microsoft and see a few reports for the same issue.
I think for the time being you will need to use win10 or win11 as the server

Ok no worries--I am trying to get the phone reccognised by a hyper v vm running imazing to get away from the stupid apple backup crap.
the iphone is seen by virtual here but cannot be seen by imazing--have not tried itunes but imazing uses its drivers I believe (bonjour service and the like).
Oh well back to the drawing board I suppose.
