Nvidia Shield + DualSense Edge

I'm connecting a DualSense Edge to my licensed Nvidia Shield via USB and it seems like VirtualHere can't see this device.

I get the permission requests, say yes, but nothing ever shows up on the client side.

Tried the same with an xbox controller and it showed up right away.

Any clue what I can do ?

What does the permission request say? Does it say "VirtualHere wants to access the Dualsense" or does it say some other app? Im wondering if another app is actually popping up that message

When connecting the controller, I get two notifications, both from VirtualHere USB Server:

  • "Allow VirtualHere USB Server to access DualSense Edge Wireless Controller? This app has not been granted record permissions but could captue audio through this USB device."
  • "Open VirtualHere USB Server to handle DualSense Edge Wireless Controller? This app has not been granted record permissions but could captue audio through this USB device."

Can you double check you are running VirtualHere Android Server App 4.4.9 (Click the Menu at the top right in the app and select About)

Also if possible could you paste in here (or email mail [at] virtualhere.com) the system messages by clicking the menu at the top right -> System Messages ->Copy to clipboard . after that popup appears asking for permission and you click Yes
