Bind_Error on Logitech G923 Wheel

Hey all,

I'm having an issue connecting my wheel using VirtualHere. On the local pc it is connected to, the wheel is lit up until I request the connection on the remote PC. Then VirtualHere hangs a few moments, the lights go out on the wheel, and neither PC is able to see it until I un-plug and re-connect the USB.

Here is the snippet from the log related to it:

2023-03-27 13:28:25 INFO :Found Full speed device [046d:c26e] "Logitech, G923 Racing Wheel for Xbox One and PC" at address 7
2023-03-27 13:30:11 ERROR :Error 2 calling CreateFile while completing capture of USB\VID_8087&PID_0024\5&355C47BA&0&1,USB\VID_046D&PID_C26E\0000B84F71A7F776,6, The system cannot find the file specified. (0x00000002)
2023-03-27 13:30:17 ERROR :Error binding device 7 [046d:c26e] to connection 1, BIND_ERROR

So it's failing to find some file... a driver maybe, and then giving a BIND_ERROR.

Both PCs have drivers for the wheel (through G Hub) and it has been used on both sides locally.

Thanks in advance.

Can you stop and exit the virtualhere server and then download and try the one from the MIcrosoft Store. That works slightly differently.

#3

Thanks, I actually have tried that one already. I believe the error log above is from the Microsoft Store version, but I have tried both.

#4

Is there a bit more to the log like "SURPRISE UNBOUND"?

#5

No, before the snip I took was me successfully connecting to a different device, then the log yelling at me for trying to link two devices on a trial account, disconnecting the different device, and then what I included. Nothing was after.

OK interesting, it might be fixable, do you have teamviewer? Can i take a quick look while you are there. Email me the details if you mail [at] virtualhere.com (mail[at]virtualhere[dot]com)

The email returned as undeliverable. My email is xxxxx if you'd like to reach out to me first.

Appreciated.
