Webcam limited resolution over WiFi 6

Hello!

I have a webcam that works at 1080p when directly connected to the client. When I connect this webcam using the VirtualHere server on a laptop (4 core i7), using a WiFi 6 5ghz connection with full signal, the webcam's image will only show on the client when it's set to 600p or lower.

My intention for this setup is to use a set of headphones, microphone, webcam, keyboard and mouse over the VirtualHere server.

Does anyone have any idea why this could be causing such problems? The system and connection should be more than strong enough to handle the data, but for some reason it's just outright not showing an image when set to anything over 600p.

Does anyone also have a similar setup, and how does this work for you?

Thanks very much!

To add to the above post, every test I've done with regards to data transfer has failed in one way or another.

- When using a standalone microphone. The audio comes out choppy

- When using a headset. The audio to and from the headset comes out choppy.

Does anyone have a setup that uses a set of headphones, headset, webcam etc?

If the problem is just going to be my laptop (which should be more powerful than a raspberry pi), I'd love to get this fixed.

Thanks

Its your wifi network. I think its interference. It should be fine at 1080 because i test with that with my logitech webcam.

In the virtualhere client right click USB Hubs->About->Statistics, and run the various devices. What does that show?
