VirtualHere and Steam Deck

Hi everyone,

Tried VirtualHere a few weeks ago using my Shield and was super impressed, however the original idea was to use with my Steam Deck. I'm not exactly sure if there's more to it than just installing the client and running it as a Linux service so it also works while in game mode, where I'm lauching Moonlight from.

Appreciate any suggestions!

Im not entirely sure how people use virtualhere and the steam deck. However steam deck is just a linux pc so you can run the virtualhere server there https://www.xda-developers.com/how-to-use-your-steam-deck-as-a-pc-controller/

The steamdeck seems to be built with an internal "Steam controller" which virtualhere can pickup and redirect to a remote machine. The "Steam controller" is probably the actual stick controls and buttons on the deck.

In theory you could also run the virtualhere linux client on the deck and use a remote usb device that way however i dont know if anyone has done that.
