Trying to get VirtualHere to work with my Xbox One wireless dongle and Elite Controller 2 from a Windows laptop to a Windows desktop

Hello,

  I have a Windows laptop that is connected via wireless dongle to my Xbox Elite 2 controller.  The controller works connected to the laptop with no issues.  The laptop is running the VirtualHere server.  I have the VirtualHere client running on my Windows desktop, and I'd like to get the controller connected.

  In the client, I can see the device "XBOX ACC", but when I go to use it, it says it's in use briefly, but then it disconnects.  Here is the server log when trying to use the device:
