Windows 10 and Raspberry Pi Zero 2W successfully connected through wifi and SSH'ed into the Pi from Windows.
Installed VirtualHere server through the line:
curl https://raw.githubusercontent.com/virtualhere/script/main/install_server | sudo sh
vhusbdarm process running.
VirtualHere client running on Windows. Raspberry Hub green and visible under USB Servers.
USB hub connected to Pi, memory sticks working ok on Windows not visible through VirtualHere.
.
It is visible, it will be very slow on the pi2w because the wifi latency is so high. You would need to give it a few minutes. Basically dont use the pi2w via wifi for this. Use ethernet only.
.
Thanks for the attention, however after waiting 20 minutes, still no USB stick is visible. Is it because I use a standard (powered) hub?
.
Ah ok so you cant see it listed in the virtualhere client at all? Are you sure you plugged it into the correct usb port and not the power usb port? The USB port is the inner port, the hub should be plugged in there.
.
The power (outer) USB port is connected to an USB power adapter. The inner USB port is connected to one of the ports in the hub.
.
Does any other USB device appear if you plug
it in?
.
It's working now. I had to build an USB Micro to an USB Micro cable. No lag! :)
.`
OK great! I'm glad that's sorted.
