Force USB2.0?

Brand new user here, but I am trying to connect a device that requires a USB2.0 connection through to a VM. The device gets detected and I can push it to the VirtualBox VM, however the device is detected as using a USB 3.0 port despite being physically plugged into a USB 2.0 port on the device. Any way to force USB2.0 use or otherwise ensure the system will recognize the 2.0 port being used for the device?

Thanks!

To force it to 2.0 you must plug it into a USB 2.0 first then use it via virtualhere. The difference is electrical and so this is why you need the USB 2 hub there. It will switch it from USB 3 to USB 2.

Unfortunately it is plugged into a 2.0 port already, but the system is still telling me that the device is plugged into a 3.0 port

Ok you have some other issue unrelated to virtualhere. Its probably virtualbox doing something weird.

Note: you cant forward a USB device twice, if thats what you are doing. Run the virtualhere client inside the VM not on the host. You cant forward the USB device to the host via virtualhere then pass it though via virtualbox.
