Basically you probably need to power cycle them. I see you are from china and those Chinese UKeys firmware are sometimes buggy and wont accept redirection and being restored reliably if thats what you are using.

That’s true, but I’ve heard of a solution where they compiled the Linux kernel to generate virtual S/Ns for devices without serial numbers. However, it’s a bit too technical for me, so I’m looking for a simpler alternative.

Your problem is not related to the serial number. It is a bug in the Ukey firmware. YOU NEED TO POWER CYCLE THE USB DEVICE BETWEEN USES. THERE IS NO OTHER WAY. You can use purchase my hub to do this, or use one of these
