Hi been troubleshooting with chatgpt having a similar issue.

AI Summary:

 

I’m trying to use a MOZA R5 Base through VirtualHere on Windows and I’m still seeing the same disconnect/re-enumeration issue that appears to have been reported before for this device.

Setup:

  • VirtualHere USB Server 4.8.8
  • Windows USB mode
  • VirtualHere Client: latest version
  • Device: MOZA R5 Base
  • VID:PID: 346e:0004
  • Server PC: Windows 11 laptop

The device is detected correctly, but when I select Use this device, it binds for about one second and then immediately disconnects/re-enumerates.

I also tried the suggested custom handlers:

onReset.346e.0004= onSetConfiguration.346e.0004=

 

onReset is definitely being executed according to the server log, but the R5 still immediately goes into SURPRISE UNBOUND.

I saw that Server 4.8.4 specifically mentioned a fix for the MOZA R5, and I also found an older thread where you provided a test Windows build for what seems to be this exact issue. Unfortunately that old test-build link no longer works.

Would it be possible to provide either:

  • the old 4.8.4 Windows Server binary, so I can test whether this is a regression, or
  • a current test build with the R5-specific fix?
