Microsoft.WindowsAppRuntime.1.8.1.8.3

I keep getting a pop-up on my windows laptop about installing something like "Microsoft.WindowsAppRuntime.1.8.1.8.3" and none of my colleagues got this message. I wonder if this is related to the VirtualHere client, since I am the only one using this software.

The exact path is "C:\Users\Chibitul\AppData\Local\Temp\WinGet\Microsoft.WindowsAppRuntime.1.8.1.8.3" and this seems to pop up some time after I start the VirtualHere client.

It seems like its related to winget. 

Virtualhere doesnt use winget or require any libraries when it runs. Its an entirely self contained exe only.

However i noticed Microsoft or someone put in the virtualhere client and server into the winget archives. (https://github.com/microsoft/winget-pkgs/issues/71926)

Maybe its checking for an update automatically or something. Did you install virtualhere via winget?

Thanks for the response. No, I did not install it via winget, I installed it directly from your website a few weeks ago.

The good news is that I no longer receive this message (which required Admin password). I am not sure what caused it, and based on your response, I no longer suspect it was Virtual Here.
