Having trouble with 3D printer

Hello,

I have a Flashforge Dreamer that I've tried accessing through both a QNAP NAS and a Netgear ReadyNAS system. Things look more or less normal and functional (in that the computer [Windows 10, though I've also tried on a Windows 8.1 unsuccessfully] sees the printer and the drivers are correctly added) but none of my printer software sees the USB device. I'm using Flashprint and Simplify3D.

I think possibly flashprint or simplify 3d might be using libusb to communicate with the printer. If so libusb needs to be patched to work with virtualhere. But since you are using windows 10 try this to start the virtualhere client.

vhui64.exe -3

that will start virtualhere with the new windows 10 drivers. These dont need any patches for libusb to work.

Well that was easy. Flashprint works fine now when using your suggestion above.

Simplify3D is still being difficult but I'm not too worried since I can get the job done with Flashprint.

Thanks for your quick help, I appreciate it.
