Android Device Latency

Hi, quick question:
Is there any way to reduce latency in an Android device?

I have 2 android licenses:
- Galaxy Tab A (2018): works fine
- Galaxy S21 5G: keeps disconnecting (high latency; irregular flow)

Controllers (connected via usb A hub + usb C adapter):
- 2x Logitech F710
- 1x Xbox series S (via bluetooth dongle)

Client: Desktop (wired)

Both devices are connected via 5Ghz WiFi but the S21, although it recognizes all controllers, is quite irregular.
Can this be improved? Can the latency be reduced and keep the signal flow constant?

Note: the connection via Tablet works great - also tested a wireless mouse and a Thrustmaster T.Flight Hotas X with no problems.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Just sharing my workaround maybe it can help others...

So...it was not related with latency, but (probably) the way my phone handled USB connections after screen lock. It just kept disconnecting from the server. Tested a few things and now I just leave the screen on with the minimum Brightness Level to save battery. Hope it helps someone

Forget the screen always on, just remove battery restrictions applied to virtualhere server and you are good to go

Ok thanks for letting me know. I didnt realize that the battery restrictions would cause that drop but it makes sense now.

In the virtualhere app i do have a "Keep Awake" option in the menu which i thought was meant to prevent sleeping. But maybe they've added more android restrictions now on apps keeping the phone awake.

Yup, even with the "Keep Awake" option enabled it would disconnect. My default battery settings were set to "Optimized" so the change to "No restrictions" worked fine. So far, zero disconnects. FYI I'm running Android 12, One UI 4.1. and USB debugging OFF.

If you need help to test a new version drop me an e-mail or message. Cheers
