Hello,
I have successfully passed through 2 arduino using my galaxy tab as a server to my pc at home (via tailscale). Both work fine in matlab. Arduino IDE does complain sometimes that arduino is not writable (but disconnecting and reconnecting helps).
I however tried to use a NI USB Daq (6210). At first when you share it, its shown as unknown device in client, but after a few sections it shows the correct vendor id. NI Max detects it. Howver when I try to calibrate or use matlab data acquisition, it will read for a bit but then disconnect. Im using tailscale.
Is there an inherent USB bandwidth limit im hitting? Is it my upload speed? I want to the DAQ to my lan and try, but i wont be able to this week. However before that, is using thr daq via virtual here not feasible ? Or is the android server more limited?
Thanks
.
Almost certainly latency. Don't use tailscale, use direct connection to minimise latency.
I tried in my LAN
I bought the daq home and tested it. Basic readings (i.e voltage) are okay, but it fails for complex readings and when i try to self calibrate using NI-Max. Can't tell if its a limit of android server or just my router?
Has anyone here used National Instruments DAQ?
