We are experiencing the following issue with a customer:
The USB server is running on a QNAP NAS, and the client is running on an APPServer (Windows 2022 Std).
From one day to the next, the programmes used via the stick (Simba & Datev) are no longer usable because they cannot find the licences.
After restarting the server, not every stick is always recognised; the only solution is to disconnect and reconnect several times.
What could be the problem?

Seems like a bug in the QNAP. Is the QNAP sleeping overnight? Perhaps disable that for a night and see if its ok then. What model QNAP is it?

Hi Michael,
i checked the QNAP (TS 253), its not configured to sleep or has any energy saving active.
I found a network issue on the Network & Switch App and solved it yesterday. We will check if the issue comes again will post it here.
