Hello everyone, here's what I'm hoping is possible with this software (would gladly pay the license if I have to):
I have 1 NVIDIA Shield Pro 2019 in my living room that would be the server.
I have 2 PCs in my office (one is mine, one is my wife's).
I have 2 controllers to be connected to the Shield.
Here's what I would love:
1 - Connect 2 controllers to 1 PC (mine) to play co-op games. (I believe this is possible)
2 - Connect 1 controller to 1 PC (her controller to her PC or my controller to my PC) to play single player games.
3 - The transition between connections should be smooth or a couple of selections in the server, not on the PC (so if both controllers are on they will connect to my PC, however if my controller is off then her controller connects to her PC, while my controller always goes to my PC).
Let's assume my PC is always on/sleeping and hers could be turned off, but ideally would also be mostly sleeping.
What is the smoothest way to achieve this, if possible? I know you can enable auto-connects in the clients, but how would that work if there is a conflict?
.
Yes the way this works with Auto-Use is like this. (You should check Auto-Use Device/Port so just that device on that port will be auto used)
If you want to grab control of the auto-used device from another machine there is a 3-second grace period where it wont try to auto-use again within that time period so you can grab it like this:
a. auto-use the device
b. Right click Disconnect from User
You now should automatically get control
