Hi,
VH worked the very first time using Steam Link and Logitech Driving Force Pro wheel playing American Truck Simulator.
But after that very first time, it stopped working. Tried rebooting both Steam Link and computer, starting Steam as administrator, toggling USB share in Steam Link, downloading and installing VH client (it did see the wheel and showed that I was using it), and set VH as a service. VH is running according to Task Manager but wheel is not showing up in ATS.
ATS does recognize the wheel and works when I plug it in to my computer port directly.
Please help.
Thanks!
.
Are you using the very latest firmware on the steam link - 920?
Originally had Steam Link…
Originally had Steam Link public build 918. Updated to beta build 920 but still no joy. Other suggestions?
.
Right click on the wheel in the virtualhere client, select Custom Event Handler and type in
onReset.$VENDOR_ID$.$PRODUCT_ID$=
then press ok, unplug and replug the wheel.
Does that fix it?
Tried troubleshooting again…
Tried troubleshooting again. Followed your instructions adding the Custom Event Handler text, unplugged and re-plugged the wheel into the Steam Link but still no joy.
Additional searching led me to disabling Steam Input in the Steam desktop application. Rationale was that Steam was recognizing it as a game controller rather than a wheel. Still not working.
Steam Link firmware has updated to public 921 (tried beta 922). Even tried factory reset and updating to latest after that. Nothing works.
Plugging the wheel to the Steam Link and using VirtualHere, the Logitech Driving Force Pro device status on the desktop is "unable to start" (shown in Printers and Devices, right click on Driving Force icon, select Properties). Plugging the wheel to the desktop directly, status is OK and game is okay.
How best to fix this? Thanks.

In the virtualhere client, right click on the wheel and select Custom Event Handler and paste in exactly this
onSetConfiguration.$VENDOR_ID$.$PRODUCT_ID$=then press OK. and unplug replug the wheel and try to use it via virtualhere. If that still fails i dont think its compatible unfortunately.
