Support for multi-mode gamepads

I'm having trouble using any device that works as multiple devices at once, mainly gamepads.

Some examples: MCR-RCW99P-W01, PCH-GLWH-PR01
Those connects thru the USB, then you can set them as XInput, DInput, or android gamepads/switch pro controllers.
When I try to share those thru VirtualHere, they usually just reconnect and don't works, I've tried the custom handler thing with onReset and onConfigurationSet (iirc the names) and it still didn't work, different things may happens, like it simply resets and thats it, or it "boot loops" connecting and disconnecting non-stop, or even just stay flashing the "connecting" lights (which then I have to use USBDeview to uninstall all the connections from beforehand).
I also have tried setting the auto-use for the actual port (so it would automatically grab anything on that given port), but it didn't help at all.
Simple gamepads that just plain connect -> use, seems to work, like the Logitech ChillStream (which is marked as PS3/Corded), but more modern multi-mode gamepads fails consistently.

What sort of device are you running VirtualHere server on? An android device, Linux, windows or Mac?

I'm running it both on Windows 11, the server and the client, on 2 computers connected thru ethernet cable on the same LAN, no wireless involved.
PC1 -> Router <-> Switch <- PC2
Only having trouble with this kinda of device, other devices works properly, like mouses/keyboards and gamepads that do not have this multi-mode nature.

Right click on the USB Device in the virtualhere client and select Custom Event Handler... and paste in exactly this

onSetConfiguration=

then press OK. Unplug and replug the dongle and try via virtualhere.

 If that still fails can you post the server log here by clicking Settings->View server log->Copy to clipboard and paste in the relevant parts here.

Ok I have tested with the handler you've sent.

When doing it, the controller keeps flashing the lights as if "pairing" nonstop, it never actually finishes.
To make it stop doing that I had to uninstall the controller from USBDeview.
As for the logs, it floods the following only, no other different text:

Incorrect function.

Can you post a few of the server log lines. It wont just say incorrect function there will be text and a date/time

I dont know, seems the controller is continally connecting and disconnecting itself. So i think is some firmware issue in the controller

Normally when I plug the controller, it flashes the lights for a little bit, then the lights stays on based on what mode the controller is connected (first 3 lights on for xinput mode, which is what im using here), it works perfectly directly plugging the USB, but that happens when trying to use thru virtualhere.

Im also having issues while using a logitech chillstream controller + a simple mouse, the client crashes after sometime randomly, and then i have to open it again, it works for some time and then keeps randomly crashing, the server does not crash, only the client, so i cannot get the client logs as it crashes, but heres the server logs.
Edit: After extensive tests I've noticed that making both, client and server run as service mode and keeping the UI completely closed (not on the tray bar, so only the services are running), makes so it stops crashing.

Whenever you see SURPRISE UNBOUND it means the device has disconnected itself (probably a firmware/watchdog crash reset inside the device)

So it seems your mouse is doing this. What is the latency for your connection. In the virtualhere client, right click USB Servers->About->Statistics. What does that generally show?
