Unstable connection

Hi Michael,
My connection drops regularly with intervals ranging from minutes to several hours. I can't pinpoint if it's the server, the client, the network or the usb device itself.
Below an extract from client messages. Do they tell you anything about possible cause?
Thanks!

The network connection between the client and server is dropping. The client pings the server every 3 seconds. If it doesn't hear anything back from the server (i.e the network connection has dropped) then it will assume the connection is broken and the "ping timeout" will clean up the stale connection.

Are you on wifi? If so switch to ethernet

Thanks. Yes on wifi, and not a very good chip either :(, but Ethernet is 50m away and different building...
There are no syslog messages though, but still could be a wifi issue.
In any case, no timeout built in vh that could cause the connection to reset, is that right (other than the ping above)?

What server device is it? I would recommend a 2T2R device like the nexx https://www.virtualhere.com/hardware as that has good wifi. Or even better would be a 2T2R or better device with external antennas.
