Linux documentation

Can you please send me documentation for getting this to work on Linux? I want to use the CLI only and I have (unfortunately) purchased this now.

#3

Where would the content of my drive be after all of this? It all ran fine -- I see the drive using the -t I just don't know where the content of the drive are. Not under /cdrom not under /mnt .....

#4

try vhclientx86_64 -t LIST

it should show the device as being used with a

*

try typing

mount

and it should show where it is mounted

#5

So I still do not see any Mount. Here is a shot of my commands and their responses.

What about if you look in dmesg or /var/log/syslog If will say where it is mounted or at least what is going on.

#13

Doesnt seem that pioneer drive is compatible. Im happy to give you a refund if you want. let me know

#15

Actually, wait. I'm not giving up yet. I get a Win10 laptop in a month and I want to try that out. Also, if I were to somehow get this over USB 2.0 as opposed to USB 3.0 do you think that would make a difference?

#16

Yes USB2.0 might work. If you plug a usb 2.0 hub into your server then plug the writer into that. Then give it a try via virtualhere.

#17

I'll give USB 2.0 and also when I get Win10 give that a try -- and keep my license for now. Thanks. I'll let you know.
