virtualhere closing alone

Hello!! I use the virtualhere server in my synology, it is working fine. I am having problem with the client that I use to connect my dongle chimera tools. the client connects however it closes alone after I open and log into my chimera tools. I already tested it on two computers and it does the same thing and it does not show me an error code. simply closes.

Can you give me a hint what version/type the client operating system is e.g OSX? Windows? and also is it the VirtualHere client that "exits" or the chimera client?

#3

windows 10/7 operating system, chimera tool remains open but the virtual client software here closes. version 4.5.4

#5

hello, I already did this too and it does the same thing. closes without the nenum warning or error log.

Do you have any options in virtualhere to save the log?

#6

Ok start the client like this

vhui64.exe -l c:\log.txt

paste the log.txt in here

I saw that in the log no error appears. maybe the problem would be in the chimera tools. I believe he should have some security system that will not let us use the USB dongle virtually.

#9

I did another test. I started the client, I installed as windows service. I plugged in the chimera tools dongle. I opened the software chimera tools I logged on with the dongle. after that the chimera still closes the client software, plus the dongle remains connected in service mode. and it's working so far.

#10

Ok thats interesting, i was going to suggest that, i think they might close virtualhere so you cant use virtualhere for their dongle.

#11

I have the same problem with my chimera I have several clients but previously I could use it now, not in what the dongle starts session closes the client's server and already tries with old and new versions of virtualhere and is the same

#12

I think its that company trying to stop people using virtualhere with their system. Its nothing to do with virtualhere

#13

could give some solution to this problem to which virtual has given great support and good service,

#14

there is no solution they add something detect v-her cleint you can check from task manager and all program closing alone.

#15

chimera dongle is detecting the controller from virtualhere and instaclose, that is ur problem,

@Michael any option to rename the controller for test ?

#16

No

#17

ok, not solution , the dongle can be shared without problem, but the client detect a usb sniffer/shared
