Problem with initial firmware write to GL-MT300N-V2

I want to use a GL-MT300N-V2 with the intended firmware but no luck so far.
My problem is that after the firmware is flashed to the unit it never appears to my list of wifi units.

There is no problem to start the flash using this file.
https://www.virtualhere.com/sites/default/files/usbserver/cloudhub-gl-m…
But it wont boot up properly again.

I have "unbricked" the unit back to latest original firmware using this help https://docs.gl-inet.com/en/2/troubleshooting/debrick/
and tried again.

no luck.
I even tried using Uboot failsafe mentioned above to tried to write cloudhub-gl-mt300nv2-upgrade.bin to the unit.

But no luck so far.

Is the any known bugs or issues that anybody know about

It will appear as "CloudHub_xxxx" in the 2.4 Ghz band (not the 5Ghz band) can you double check you can see 2.4Ghz stations with your wifi

I actually had three devices searching and they all list both bands. And I’m sure because my home use both.

Is there any documentation for what to expect from the status light?

OK can you double check you are using the mt300v2 and not the mt300n as they are different.

Tomorrow i will restore my gl-mt300nv2 to glinet stock firmware and then redownload the virtualhere cloudhub firmware and verify its ok. I test this all the time, however i update firmware from a previous cloudhub version rather than from stock.

I'll try tomorrow and let you know.

Amazing support!

I flashed the unit with the new firmware you fixed and just to be sure reinstalled Bonjour.

It now works and am able to use it with a usb programmer from sure/wondom.

The mini router is basically the same size as the programming board to. So i now have a battery powered wireless solution to program my dsp board using analog devices sigma studio. Awesome!

This was not possible with your program on a pi zero w.

I found that out to late, but now I got an extra pi zero w for some other project.

I can’t be mad I’m not a paying costumer, I found the problem on this support site and bought a more capable hardware, and when I ran in to problems I got a updated firmware within a day.

Can I give you a suggestion? It can’t hurt if you update your site with a link to the uboot failsafe as an option to restore the GL-MT300N-V2 can it?
Thank you once again!

You can just get the gl-mt300nv2 stock firmware from the glnet download site, no need for me to supply it
