Client 5.0.0 and up, argument -i vs -b

Hi,
since the Win client version 5.0.0 has Bonjour already included (doesn't need to be installed), when installing it as a service, is there any difference between these two program arguments (listed in: https://virtualhere.com/client_configuration_faq):

-i Installs the client as a service
-b Same as above, but installs client as service with auto-find off by default (Bonjour will therefore not be auto-installed by default)

If I see it correctly, using -i does not install Bonjour, so is there any difference between -i and -b? The only difference I can think of now is that -b sets AutoFind=0 in the config.ini file.

Yes that is correct the only difference is -b sets AutoFind=0 . Ill change that line in that webpage

Hi Michael, I've noticed you had to put Bonjour back into the client (v5.0.2 changelog). Is it just temporary until you hunt down the bug?

#4

Yes hopefully it's temporary.

I think it's something to do with the ARP table being empty sometimes If I can figure out the issue I'll put the new bonjour-less code back in

#5

Hi Michael, I guess you figured it out and 5.0.3 is back on track (yet again bonjour-less)?

Yes im pretty sure i found the two bugs and fixed them in 5.0.3.
