Raspberry Pi4 Static IP address

Hi all,
I recently attempted to change the eth0 port on my Pi4 to a Static IP.. All works fine locally (Local LAN), but I can no longer see the Virtual Here server from a remote location.
Even though I have the correct port forwarding etc etc etc .

Anyone have any advice?
Cheers

VirtualHere needs TCP port 7575 open and Auto-Find needs UDP 5353.

If you are using https://www.virtualhere.com/easyfind that requires UDP 443 open

If its not connecting you have some firewall in the way. Note that auto-find wont work over the WAN so you need to manually specify the (external) ip address in the client by right clicking USB Hubs->Specify Hubs->Add

Thanks Michael. I am not using easy find, but have opened ports 7575 (this was working before when using DHCP) and now opended UDP 5353, but still not being the server.

..argh. I thought I'd try easy find but put in the wrong email address and now I can't apply for the trial with the code I pasted...to the correct email address.
I'm having a dumb day.

Sure, ive forwarded that easyfind email to your correct address.

Thank you Michael,
When clicking on that link it opens the Virtual Here page with a dot in it.
Than I tried to enable it in the Server Proprties and it responds with "EasyFind unavailable from this server"
I am sorry to be such a nuisance.

Regards,
Matt

If is says easyfind is unavailable from this server it means its physically blocked by a firewall somewhere. EasyFind wont (by design) get through firewalls. Only NATs

OMG ... I thought I should post this here, embarrassing as it is.
In all my mucking about, I had replaced the IP address for the remote server, with the WAN Gateway IP Address, instead of the WAN IP Address.
I feel like a complete idiot and apologise for my stuff up.

No problem, yes virtualhere just works on 7575 so if that doesn't work its definitely some other network issue
