Support for VirtualHere hardware and software
Hi,
I'm highly interested in purshasing a licence, but I want to try it out first. Not working yet.
I am having a strange issue, to me at least, regarding my Xbox controllers downstairs controlling my PC when my device they are connected to is turned off. So I have an Nvidia Shield that I use a wireless Xbox dongle to simulate it being connected to my pc via VirtualHere. But all devices, mouse, and keyboard included will begin to control my PC even when I don't have the shield running, which I thought meant the VH part wasn't running and even with the server not open or running on my PC.
I use a Shadow cloud PC, and I am trying to connect a TrackIR system to it. I have read through the forums to find out how to get it to work, and they all point me toward this service. I have installed the server on my local, the client on my Shadow and the VM software to connect it all. I can get the hub to pick up on the Shadow, but I keep getting this error,
"Error 2 installing drivers, the system cannot find the file specified."
The log for the client shows " INFO :No drivers found, they will be installed

Hi,
I'm running VirtualHere client vhui64.exe v5.1.6 on a Windows Server 2016 Hyper-V VM, connecting to VirtualHere Server vhusbdwin64.exe, also v5.1.6, on a Windows Server 2016 Hyper-V host. I did not install Bonjour on the server, since this is a very straightforward permanent network connection and I didn't see any need for a discovery service.
Are there instructions for a complete newbie? I want to use a Raspberry Pi 0 w as the server at one location and a Linux desktop as client at another location. I think I got it installed on the Pi but I can't find newbie instructions to install the client on a Linux Mint desktop.
After connecting using EasyFind to my server, all the usb devices show up, but when I try connecting I get an error "Windows cannot find dpinsts.exe. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again." after clicking ok, a message pops up "Error installing 2 drivers, the system cannot find the file specified"
Hello,
Is it possible to run the VirtualHere client on RedHat 8?
How can I install the required kernel modules?
Thank you,
Flavio
Hello,
I'm a Radio Amateur and would like to use a transceiver in my local network using a Raspberry 4 B and VH.
The transceiver is a Yaesu FT 991a (https://www.yaesu.com/indexVS.cfm?cmd=DisplayProducts&ProdCatID=102&enc…). Connected directly by USB it works fine.
Info: The transceiver has a built in sound card for Microphone / Speakers.
I'm trying to use a spacenavigator controller from my old 2010 mac (high sierra) laptop connected to a windows 7 server at office through Microsoft Remote desktop over OpenVPN.
I couldn't find any instruction on how to configure and forward ports for this kind of connections...
Sorry for the newbie question, but should I setup anything on the VPN before trying to correctly operate VirtualHere ?
Hi all,
I recently attempted to change the eth0 port on my Pi4 to a Static IP.. All works fine locally (Local LAN), but I can no longer see the Virtual Here server from a remote location.
Even though I have the correct port forwarding etc etc etc .
Anyone have any advice?
Cheers
