Audio Reversed

Forums

Hello,

I'm hosting my USB headset on a linux machine and have a client on a Windows 10 machine. I noticed the weirdest thing today, the left audio is coming out of the right ear and the right audio out the left ear. Is there any type of setting or tweak that I can do to correct this issue?

Thank you,
Larry

impossible to play music files located on laptop to qnap connected to DAC

Forums

Hi
I have a QNAP HS251+ connected to a DAC through USB.
I go through my LAN
I have installed both program on QNAP and my laptop OSX 10.12.6
I see the driver in the system preferences/ sound : when i choose it, nothing goes through.
Same issue when streaming internet radio through web browser
1. Any idea how to achieve this ?
2. What could go wrong in setup?

Thank you very much for your help.

Install Client as Service Fails on Win 10 machine?

Forums

No matter what I do, I inevitably get a window that says:
"VirtualHere Client USB Sharing service StartService failed, error 2 (The system cannot find the file specified.)"

I read that this happened when the client is located on a network share. I made a point to load it from a local drive, I tried to load it from the root directory, I tried to run it as Administrator...
No joy!

Any ideas????

Thanks!

Server 2012R2: vhui64 driver install fails

Forums

Hi,

when i try to use a usb device on a windows server 2012R2 (HyperV-VM), connected to a linux server in our environment, the driver installation fails.

15:10:35 INFO :No drivers found, they will be installed
15:10:40 INFO :SetupDiEnumDeviceInterfaces failed
15:10:40 INFO :SetupDiEnumDeviceInterfaces failed
15:10:40 ERROR :Hub failed to open error, Es sind keine Daten mehr verfügbar. (0x00000103)

I already tried to extract to the drivers with 'vhui64 -x' and install them via dpinsts.exe. But i get the same result.

VH performance with NanoPI-Neo2 and Canon T1i camera

Forums

Got everything set up yesterday then discovered I'd left my mini-usb cable in a different city and that I was short one Cat6 cable. By then everything was closed to I had to wait until today to try things.

Anyway, I messed a bit with linux so I can't say what the vanilla memory and cpu usage were (ubuntu-NanoHAT-OLED version) but I know what they were before starting VH.

Before:
CPU avg load ~0.44%
Mem use 32/483MB

After starting VH as a daemon
CPU avg load ~0.50%
Mem use 34/483MB

Linux background service difficulties (systemctl)

Forums

I'm using Ubuntu 16 and attempting to get the server running in the background. I tossed vhusbdarm64 into /usr/sbin and at first I tried the script in the sticky above by changing $NAME then putting it in /init.d then

root@NanoPi-NEO2:/etc/init.d# update-rc.d virtualhere.sh defaults

Windows Recognizes Device But Not Software

Forums

I'm planning on using VirtualHere for Wii Emulation with Dolphin using bluetooth passthrough and steam in home streaming. Locally everything works, Dolphin recognizes bluetooth adapter. So i plug bluetooth adapter to Steam Link and i can see the bt adapter under device manager with right driver. But this time Dolphin won't recognize bt adapter.

For a software there shouldn't be any difference if i use a device locally or over virtualhere right? What am i missing, how can i fix this?
