Licensing Question

Forums

Hi,

Can you tell me how the license is tied to the server.
We have virtualhere server running on Linux. We need to rebuild the OS - same hardware.
Will the license still work? Same hardware, same distro, but a clean build, maybe a version change.

thanks
dave

Android device (ADB) from SteamLink to a Linux desktop

Forums

I'm trying to developer for my S7 edge, which is plugged into a SteamLink which is connected to a Linux desktop, if I try to use the device I get "Error "Operation not permitted" (-1) trying to use this device. (10.0.1.57:7575)"

I've tried starting adb as root, and that didn't change anything.

I've purchased VirtualHere and the unlimited devices.

Cheers

Matthew

Remote USB not recognized on Windows client

Forums

Hello,

You're tool looks great and I really want it to work. However, I have a single licensing dongle that I need to connect to remotely and it is not working. I've tried hosting it on two different Linux servers and tried connecting from 2 different Windows clients. As far as I can tell, the Linux server appears to be hosting it correctly. Here are some relevant syslog messages from my most recent test, grepping for 'vhusb':

Monitor / Control the Server

Forums

I'm setting up a home server with Raspberry Pi (running resin.io). It has a node.js webserver and runs VirtualHere. What would be the best way to get the status (e.g. connected devices & users) of VirtualHere to node.js?

I see no possibilities using the server, does this mean I would have to run the client on my server just to monitor it?

Thanks for any advice,

Thomas

Problem with Digicom card reader model EZ100PU

Forums

Hi,
I have tried (trial version) your software to share an USB Digicom card reader model EZ100PU in rdesktop.
This because one of our customers has a QNAP Nas and I want try your software before installing it in the Nas.

I have installed the trial version of vhuit64 on an Ubuntu 16.04 LTS system.
In the client, a VirtualBox vm with Windows 7 64 bit, I have installed the drivers of the card reader and your client vhui64.exe
