Tried VirtualHere a few weeks ago using my Shield and was super impressed, however the original idea was to use with my Steam Deck. I'm not exactly sure if there's more to it than just installing the client and running it as a Linux service so it also works while in game mode, where I'm lauching Moonlight from.
Appreciate any suggestions!
I cannot say this enough, this app is f'ing awesome.
Connected my DS4 on my Shield, Virtual here app working on Shield and the virtual here client on my Windows. Using Sunshine/Moonlight to stream my games from my Desktop to Shield. It all works flawlessy. I want to play with my DS4 controller on Shieldbox and have rumble, so I installed DS4Windows and cause VH works perfect without any delays/latency at all my desktop sees my DS4 controller as connected so DS4Windows works without any troubles.
I have not tried this yet, but I have some questions.
Based on the existing KB, "noticed VirtualHere send a ping every 3 seconds from server->client and from client->Server to gauge connection status. If no ping is heard for 9 sec the connection is considered broken and the client/server assume disconnection".
Could you please share the way to extend the Ping Timeout, the 3 sec is too short for our environment.

Printer doesn't want to work via virtualhere with MBP 14 2021. Scanner works OK.
Printer prints to the middle of the paper and then stops.
While connected directly via cable printer and scanner works also OK.

Computer - Macbook pro 14 2021, Monterey 12.6.2
All In One printer - Canon mp220
Driver from MP230, because this one is the closest which was released for Monterey.
When connecting a SmartCardReader i get the following error:

We have a particular question Is it possible to change the HID\VID AND PID_ numbers of the virtual device that maps in the Client PC because the USB connected to the server has a particular identification, and the client software identifies that it's not the same USB connected even that has the software.
So my question is, its possible to change these numbers in the Driver or configure them in the Client VirtualHere software to be mapped in the client PC with a particular identification description of the USB?
I've been having issues with an 8bitdo USB dongle 2. Works completely fine when plugged in directly to the PC, but a complete hit or miss, mostly miss, when using it with virtual here.
Device shows up fine in virtual here client. controller connects to the dongle just fine and shows up just fine in device manager, but the controller simply just does not work.
