Steam Link hardware and Android Mobile Phone Access

Forums

Hi! I am trying to access a Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro (with Android 12 OS) over Steam Link client hardware from my Desktop PC downstairs so I can copy and delete files. At first, the device appears on the VirtualHub Windows 11 GUI. But I cannot use it even when I give access for "File Transfer" in said Android Phone. An error always pops up in Windows. After some research, I thought I found out the solution.

Virtual client connects on Mac, LightBurn sees it, but won't connect. On windows works with same server.

Forums

Hello,

I use a Raspberry Pi 4B with DietPi (versions available at 06.01.2024) to install VirtualHere server.  Works ok with VirtualHere client on Windows 10 pro, with LightBurn last version, Creality Falcon 2 22W laser last firmware. All ok, working.

Connecting to USB Hub... Issue

Forums

Hi,

I have installed the VirtualHere CloudHub on Raspberry Pi 4. It works fine when I connected to its original WIFI network.

The issue occurs when I change the config to be part of my network. I get the "Connecting to USB Hub..." message. Also when configured with direct IP address.

"nc -zv" to port 7575 shows "connection refused". I would assume it's an issue with firewall on the server, but shouldn't it be open because it's the prepared before soultion?

Best regards,

hvltaj

Client unable to find server randomly

Forums

Hello, I'm encountering a recurring issue where my client unexpectedly loses its connection to the server. Despite holding a paid license, this problem arises sporadically, sometimes after days or weeks without any issue. When it occurs, the client either drops the connection or fails to detect the server upon startup. I've tried multiple restarts of both the router and the client/server systems, which sometimes resolves the issue. However, I couldn't find any error messages in the server or client logs. This situation is becoming quite bothersome and time-consuming.

Disk Not Ejected Properly - MacOS Monterey

Forums

Hi there.

I'm just trialing VirtuaHere to have my external drive that is connected to my Mac, be used as a drive on a virtual machine on Vagon.

From the virtual machine it recognises the drive on my mac which is formatted as exFat but it disconnects the drive as soon as I select it from the virtual machines install of VirtualHere?

I just wanted to ask whether this is normal? I imagine it isn't as if the drive disconnects than it cant be seen by the windows machine?

Regards, Craig Penn.

Installing server on a LInux PC

Forums

I'm very new to linux, but I have a small little Ubuntu PC that I'd like to try this on. But I have no idea how to install it. The Windows version is a snap. I downloaded vhusbdx86_64  for Linux but I've tried everything to install but I cannot get anything to happen to get the nice GUI to show up like in Windows. Is this possible? If so, is there a tutorial on what to do?

I was able to get $ sudo ./vhusbdx86_64 -b

to do something without an error, but it doesn't seem to have done anything. Can't I just download a program like in Windows?

Fanatec Wheel/Pedals with a Yaw2

Forums

I use VirtualHere with the Yaw2 Pro and have an issue with my Fanatec Wheel/Pedals. Turns out, that I am not the only one (another user posted the exact same issue in the Yaw Discord). So maybe anyone here has an idea on how to solve this issue.

When I have multiple devices connected (Vive Tracker, X56 HOTAS, mouse reciever), the wheel randomly gets no input for roughly 1-2 seconds. That happens totally random. Sometimes more often, sometimes rarely.
