Android (Nvidia Shield) + Headsets

Forums

Hi, does anyone know if there are any known issues sharing USB headsets (headphones and microphone) over VirtualHere on the Android version? I'm specifically using an Nvidia Shield, and a SteelSeries Arctis 9.

When I connect the device, I get an extra Android popup warning me that VirtualHere doesn't have audio recording permissions, but it could record audio if I grant it access. When I allow this, the headset does show up on my Windows client, and I can set it as the default audio output, but it still doesn't seem to work for either output or recording.

Attached android is not powering OTG USB

Forums

Dear virtual here,
Our android in the link below does not seem to connect with our USB app through the micro usb on it. We know other Androids connect perfectly with our app. We are interested in getting this Android to work with your virtual here.

We plan on purchasing a substantial amount of licenses whenever we can power up our smartphone

Share Xbox controller via Nvidia Shield to Windows PC

Forums

Apologies, this might have been discussed before. I want to use my Xbox controller remotely on a windows pc to use in Flight Simulator. The xbox controller is paired with my Nvidia Shield. I'm running the server on the Shield and the client on the windows PC. The client sees the Xbox controller, but 1) flight simulator doesn't 'see' the xbox controller, and 2) when I use the buttons/sticks on the Xbox controller it still controls the Nvidia Shield.
What am I doing wrong?

Renaming devices will get them disconnected

Forums

Hi,

New user on the forums here, we have some Raspberry Pi 3 with virtualhere running that whenever you connect a device and rename them it will keep on getting disconnected. We have to rename them because we need to connect multiple devices on one raspberry. I do not see any topic or user having the same kind of issue hence this. FYI, all these affected rbpi have licenses as well. Anyone new why this is happening?

Virtual here not working on steam link

Forums

So, i bought the virtual here steam link, but it's not working, i open the steam link and there's no option related to the Virtual Here. I really have no idea of what to do. I haven't noticed any extra file on the steam link folder, as far as I know, so i don't know if it could be that. Also, the Virtual here client is not recognizing my Dualsense controller, even tho it shows up with no problem on steam.
