I've installed a VirtualHere server on NAS QNAP and I connect a Logitech C270 Webcam on it.
Using a Win10 client I connect using the VirtualHere client the Wevcam to Skype or Teams.
In this configuration I see the high resolution video but the microphone does not work.
Suggestions?

I am using game controllers on my MacBook Pro (running 10.14.6), and I play on a remote Windows server in the cloud, using a registered VirtualHere server to forward my gaming controller inputs to the server. It has been working quite successfully so far with a Steam Controller.

Recently I have purchased a Thrustmaster pack with a joystick and throttle. It does work quite well, but after playing a while I am suddenly loosing control.
Looking at the server logs, here what I can see:

PI 4 is the same and Serial Number too. But after the update it say unlicensed!
All update in past this was never an issue .

I have download the builds available at the downloads section but I am unable to get it to run as it says invalid executable. I am using Ubuntu mate 19.04

Can you guide me what seems to be the issue

I did try to run it in terminal
With sudo ./PKG
with Sudo bash ./(PKG)

Please help.

sometimes i get an Error from virtualhere console client on ubuntu while retrieving the device list.

Server and client are on the same Host. The client is only used, to get the device-list (for monitoring purposes) .
Every few minutes i do: "/usr/sbin/vhclienti386 -t List" and got the list, but sometimes i got an error: "Error, IPC pipe was broken before finishing read". The error persists for a while and some time later ist works again. A restart of the client did not help.

The server works as aspected all the time.

With the current conditions of things there are a lot of we mechanical engineers working remotely. We run Inventor but many others run SolidWorks or other 3D design software. At work we have 3Dconnexion SpacePilots and many of us have them at home, too. Other have taken theirs home with them. We log in remotely using SolarWinds Remote Control which works great except for one thing.... no 3D mice. To put it in perspective, not having a 3D mouse for CAD work is like everyone using the arrow keys rather than a mouse. That would be rough and so is this.

since the Win client version 5.0.0 has Bonjour already included (doesn't need to be installed), when installing it as a service, is there any difference between these two program arguments (listed in: https://virtualhere.com/client_configuration_faq):

-i Installs the client as a service
-b Same as above, but installs client as service with auto-find off by default (Bonjour will therefore not be auto-installed by default)

My VH sever periodically stops working on Synology DS918+NAS, DSM 6.2.2, perhaps after automatic DSM update. It always needs manual restart. This is very inconvenient for users since action of administrator is needed. Pls advice.

I'm contemplating placing my desktop in another room and use VirtualHere to get the USB devices working.

I've gotten an RPi4B and it's connected via a 1Gbit/s wired connection via a Ubiqity switch to my desktop. I have a SSD connected via USB3 which easily out-performs the network (It does a few hundred MB/s when connected with USB 3.1 gen 1 cable to the appropriate hub).

My latency is hovering at 1ms according to vh. My desktop is a i7 running Win10 64bit. I'm using the free version for now to evaluate the experience.
