Hy,
i have a little issue with renaming of devices on windows client (maybe it is not a client related issue).
Hey Michael!
I didn't have a use for this software for a while as I was at the time trying to use a DS4 controller directly without adapter which didn't work.
Now I got a different (more traditional you could say) use case for the app, mouse and keyboard, and it works GREAT when it works -it's just AMAZING compared to the smoothing filled mess without VirtualHere- I just have one issue:
Hello when "VirtualHere USB 3 eXtensible Host Controller" is installed in device tree, at reboot one of the hardware USB drivers fails (and my docking station will refuse to work).
The error displayed on the hardware USB Device is: Code 31: "Object Name already exists"
Everythings returns normal if I remove "VirtualHere USB 3 eXtensible Host Controller" from the Device Manager.
Lenovo Thinkpad P52, Windows 10 Professional 64 bit.

Hi, I'm running the client as a background service (https://www.virtualhere.com/client_service) on Windows and I can't find any instructions on how to update the client when a new version is released.
It seems that the service uses the path of the client executable to run, so do I just follow these steps?
1. Shut down the "VirtualHere Client USB Sharing" service
2. Replace the vhui64.exe with the newer version
3. Start the "VirtualHere Client USB Sharing"
I need help getting access over the internet from my client to my server.
Hi Michael,
I'm having a problem with crashing of the client for Windows v 4.9.4. The situation happens when I add multiple VirtualHere Hubs, usually more than 3. The situation usually occurs within an hour after client start. Here is the logged event:
Hello there,
I'm a fresh newbie with VirtualHere. I wanted to use it with nvidia shield vs pc gaming, mostly for Race Car games.
I install the server on the shield
I install the client on the pc.
(bought the license)
I connect my Logitech G29
I start the gamestream or steam link.
I connect my pc
then the network goes down.
I checked my pc, my switch my firewall.
The issue is quite stupid.
There is a conflich with the virtualhere server on the shield and the client on the pc.
Hello Everybody,
we have Virtualhere in use for the first time. We have a Datev SecurityDongle on a QNAP NAS with the Server enabled and licensed.
We need to have the Security Dongle on the Terminal Server (Windows Server 2019 Std). When we start the Client the Security Center of Datev finds the Security Dongle for one User but the other Users cant connect to Datev, because there is no security Dongle attached. Do you have any ideas how we can fix it?
Thank you in advance.
