Support for VirtualHere hardware and software
is vhusbdmipsel up to date as the binary for cloudhub on the mt300n-v2 build? im working on a custom image of openwrt
Hello Michael,
I am trying to use a USB device that is a (Atmel ISP Programmer). The server is Ubuntu Linux and the client is a windows 10 desktop. When I select the USB device on the windows computer and select use this device. It changes status to say "In use by you" then 8 seconds later it just disappears from the list and doesn't work on the windows machine. Am I doing something wrong or maybe its just not compatible? I seen some people posting logs, how do I go about getting the logs to post for everyone to see?
Thank you for your time.
It would be incredibly helpful if there was the option for a global hotkey to Show the VirtualHere window. If I have an external monitor connected, there's generally room for the icon, but if not, there's no room for all the menu items. It'd be a huge help to have it pop up on demand.
Evans
I updated VirtualHere to 4.0.6 from 4.0.5.
It created a default config.ini, which in addition to losing the license info lost any other configuration changes there.
I don't remember all of the changes I might have made over time because it's never happened before. Maybe you could make a backup of the current config file, certificate etc before the install/upgrade?
I am a bit lost whether I need to buy a new license or whether I just do something wrong in setting things up.
I have a license that I used for my Nvidia Shield TV. I forgot how I exactly registered it, but still have the code and it worked. I believe I added the code to the client in Windows and run it as a service.
* sorry for broken english *
virtualhere sever for linux(AMD64) was works fine before 3 days ago. (I'm purchased user)
It suddenly shutdown at launching with "Error starting server".
Linux distribution is "elementary OS 5.0" (based on Ubuntu 18.04.2) .
CPU: Intel Celeron J4005.
how can I fix this ?
subject says it all.
please tell me it was backed up somewhere. why in the (*#&(*$^ would it be deleted on an upgrade when all the other settings were kept?
Fifty bucks to switch from free to paid seems a little stiff considering one might be doing something like sharing a UPS GPS between a couple of devices and is simply getting tired of always shutting down one's access to bring another active. Any thoughts to make the license graduated and tied to use or number of devices?
Hey, we are using a raspberry 4 to share our USB-camera. This works fine on a windows client, but on a ubuntu 18.04 client the cameras are not working.
Using cheese, I can select the camera but get a black screen, using vlc or ffplay i get an image with a LOT of noise, unable to recognize anything there.
Here are some errors from vlc:
What is the easiest way to upgrade the raspberry pi 4 running VirtualHere CloudHub. I know I can't do the internal update, I have to rewrite the sd card. Is there a single file I can copy over to keep all the settings for the server, wifi, passwords, name, etc?
