I installed VirtualHere on Windows 7 and love it. Thank you for making it.
But when you connect the web camera (A4 TECH USB2.0 PC Camera J), there are problems.
Could not tell what the matter is.

I'm planing to setup a server for my 3D printer due it's not close to my virtual server I have placed my QNAP nas close to it and connected the printer to it.
I have also connected a webcamera.

Camera and printer works using windows client.

As I understand I need to buy a license to to even test if it works.
There are no other way?

I am passing a lot of data and the program on the client side is not getting all the data, or at least not in real time. The server side CPU is running ~30% so it doesn't appear that the server pc is the issue. If I connect directly to the instrument by passing the VirtualHere connection, no data is lost. Any ideas where the dropout or delay of getting data is when using VirtualHere? When VirtualHere is connected, it's connected on Gigabit connection network.

How does one go about uninstalling the Linux USB Server program? I have to write a procedure doc so I need to be able to uninstall the program just so I can re-install it by following the procedure doc.

I have just downloaded the trial generic server version to test use of Cubase with an elicenser pluged in to an RPi3. Unfortunately Cubase hangs on boot up, seemingly on trying to access the networked RPi3.

Any clues on how I can get this to work, or investigative actions to undertake?

I am tryng to use ClientAuthorization for protect specific dongle (with defined vendor id)
I am using Virtualhere licensed server on raspberry pi2

I set ClientAuthorization=1 in config.ini

My problem is I am tryng to use example 2 script descrived here:
https://www.virtualhere.com/authorization

But in auth script i not see password request box for define pass and ask it to averyone user connected on the server.

Someone can help me?

Has anyone managed to mount and read CDs over the network using Virtualhere?

I have just installed the trial version on a Synology diskstation running DSM 6.1-15047. I used the SPK file from this site, version 3.2.9. Connected to the Diskstation is an LG CD/DVD reader/writer.

On the client side, I am using MacOS Sierra 10.12.4. The drive does appear in the Virtualhere client but whenever I "use this device" a receive the error message "The disk you inserted was not readable by this computer"

I would like to use the steam controller with the shield tv. I have tried things found online, but with no success. please help, if you can. thank you in advance.

Is there a way to change the default listening port of the VirtualHere server? Maybe through the config.ini?
