Support for VirtualHere hardware and software
Hello
Hi,
in my QNAP TS-653Pro I have a SSD as cache for my QNAP. It is and must not be used by other stuff.
When I look at the Windows Client of VirtualHere I see a device called IUM01-512MFHS this seems to be my 512GB caching SSD. When I connect to this device I get a message from Windows if I would format it. That means I'm really able to connect to my QNAP hard drive configured as caching disk.
That's very bad, because if I connect in mistake this device I would be able to destroy the data on my QNAP!
Dear Support
If I rely on the auto connect and auto use kick features, can I automate the auto use kick feature to kick a client connected to a device for XX amount of time before allowing them to reconnect?
Thanks
Nathan
I've been running the Windows Server version as a service for a while now on three different systems. Generally all has been good.
Yesterday one of the guys here removed the service to update to the latest version and now it wont start.
On install it installs the service and then fails with a "timeout" message, if the service is started manually it starts and then stops immediately.
There is nothing in the event log to point to the issue.
Rebooted etc, makes no difference.
Can run VH server as application fine, it's just the service that's not working.
I have VH server installed on an iMac running OS 10.12.5 and the client installed on a macbook pro running OS 10.2.5.
When I used the demo version of VH everything worked fine so I bought an unlimited license and everything was fine, until a week ago when suddenly the VH client started dropping the connection to the server. It happens all the time now, I relaunch the client and it connects to the server and about 10-20 sec later it will loose the connection.
The client is version 4.0.7 and the server is v. 3.3.0
Hi,
I bought a license for putting my DaVinci Resolve dongle on my QNAP Intel NAS for avoiding the risk of loosing it when I travel.
I installed the trial version and started testing. The application opens, I can create a project, save and edit it. So I bought a full license.
I completed my setup by adding an SSL certificate and so SSL client certificates.
Is there a way to implement smart card key exchange authentication on the client when connecting to servers?
I'm running the server on a Raspberry Pi with default parameters. Runs fine with no error messages.
Running client on Windows 10 using static Raspberry address port 7575.
I have port 7575 open on my routers firewall and turned off my Norton Security firewall.
I get the msg on the client "connecting to usb hub" but it doesn't connect. Msg goes away and comes back periodically.
I can't think of anything else to try.
Any ideas?
Hello,
Just made the purchase of this great software. I find it mandatory to support developers of software that is this much useful. The server is running on my home mini Linux server (ubuntu server OS) with few of the USB devices like HUB and two external HDD drives. All has been hidden except an USB license dongle that I hope to no longer need to carry with me wherever I go. Sharing this dongle works perfectly on my laptop. But I also with to use it from time to time at my second computer.
Im having this issue right now
