Client Crashes Installing Driver

Forums

I have used VirtualHere before and never had an issue. Today when using it with the server on my Pixel XL and the Client on a Windows 10 PC. When i connect my Dual Shock 4 controller it shows up in the Client when I select it to use it prompts to install the driver. The windows driver windows pops up and I click next then finish and it closes and the VirutalHere client crashes. I am using 64-bit version. I am at a loss never had a problem like this before when using VirtualHere.

Licensing inquiry

Forums

Do you currently have any means or plan to implement any way by which customers could bulk-purchase licenses for your product or perhaps even use some sort of license pool much like many vendors do for enterprise licensing? I am in the process of evaluating VirtualHere as a potential solution for a couple of applications at my place of employment and depending on approval may be interested in a couple hundred licenses if my proof of concept goes well.

Moving server - ESXi vm

Forums

I currently have my virtualhere server (vhusbdx86_64ib) on a ubuntu 16.04.2 LTS vm assigned 1 x E5-2660v2 core. I want to switch distros and move it to a smaller dedicated vm running Arch Linux. I'm passing through 1 of the on board USB 2.0 busses to the vm that my usb devices are plugged into.

Questions:
1 . How do I move the license?
2. Any recommendations on amount of RAM needed? I was thinking maybe 512MB since the vm is only for the virtualhere server

Thanks! John

Audio glitches

Forums

I'm trying to use a Logitech headset on my steam link and I'm getting weird audio pops and glitches every few seconds.
If I stop virtualhere and just use the steam links built in support it works fine but i then can't use the native driver / software. Which basically means i can't use the buttons or surround sound.
I thought this was a clash between the two so i disabled the steam links audio streaming but it didn't solve it.
I know it's not the device because it can handle the audio if i turn VH off.
Anyone have any idea?
Thanks.

BSOD on Windows 2012 R2

Forums

It is virtual machine, so only drivers here is VirtualHere and SmartCard driver, and on physical machine SmartCard was not issue.
Strange thing, that after first BSOD, it happened second time almost immediately after starting VirtualHere client, but when I restarted VirtualHere server - client started successfully.

Limit the number USB devices used by each client?

Forums

Hi, I have 20 computer clients to connect 10 shared USB devices. Each USB device allow only 1 connection at any time. And we don't want any computer connecting to more than 1 shared USB device. So ideally 10 computers can use these 10 shared USB devices simultaneously. If the USB device is not in use, it should be put back to available pool for next user. As we also have other computers in same LAN, we need to prevent shared USB devices from being connected by other computers as well.

Do we have to use different configuration file in each computer client?
