Windows 10 / HyperV and eLicenser

Forums

Hello
I try to setup your tool to see if we can use it with eLicenser.
I have problems :
Server is installed on a Windows 10 machine.
This machine got Hyperv Running with another W10 machine. Both 64 bits.
When try to use the eLicenser from the HyperV W10 machine I got an error.

Server log shows :
Failed to enumerate drivers when selecting, Aucune donnée n’est disponible. (0x00000103)
Error binding device 2 [0819:0101] to connection 2, BIND_ERROR

The same occur whether I set VH as a service or not!
Thanks for your help

Cypress FX2

Forums

Hi
This is Chris.
First of all, I am really glad to find the USB network gateway.
As a hardware and firmware engineer, I have to connect usb devices so frequently such as fpga and arm jtags usually.
Thanks to the gateway, I can work everywhere in conjunction with the RDP connection and my macbook pro.
So far so good.

I have found that cypress fx2(USB 2.0) devic,e which I programmed to work with an FPGA through I2C doesn't work.
The device doesn't use isochronous but bulk to send and receive i2c data with an FPGA.

Sporadic Arduino connection issues with Linux client

Forums

Hi-

We are connecting an Arduino Uno from a Linux server to a Linux console client (on a VM), and it works fine most of the time. However, sometimes a sketch fails to upload, and we have to reconnect the device. I am not seeing anything suspicious in the logs on either end. Additionally, I can't recreate on demand - it just happens, but it's happening often enough to be something I need to deal with. As an added twist, it seems to be working fine consistently on Windows (also a VM).

Licensing Question

Forums

Hi,

Can you tell me how the license is tied to the server.
We have virtualhere server running on Linux. We need to rebuild the OS - same hardware.
Will the license still work? Same hardware, same distro, but a clean build, maybe a version change.

thanks
dave

Android device (ADB) from SteamLink to a Linux desktop

Forums

I'm trying to developer for my S7 edge, which is plugged into a SteamLink which is connected to a Linux desktop, if I try to use the device I get "Error "Operation not permitted" (-1) trying to use this device. (10.0.1.57:7575)"

I've tried starting adb as root, and that didn't change anything.

I've purchased VirtualHere and the unlimited devices.

Cheers

Matthew

Remote USB not recognized on Windows client

Forums

Hello,

You're tool looks great and I really want it to work. However, I have a single licensing dongle that I need to connect to remotely and it is not working. I've tried hosting it on two different Linux servers and tried connecting from 2 different Windows clients. As far as I can tell, the Linux server appears to be hosting it correctly. Here are some relevant syslog messages from my most recent test, grepping for 'vhusb':
