Hi,
I recently found virtualhere and wanted to set it up to use on a Windows Server 2012 R2 with a Fax Modem on the Host to a VM for a Fax Server which is going to be running on the VM.
I have installed the server and that seems ot be fine and also the client and can see the modem on the clinet but when I right click and click on Use it then pops up with the error "There was a error sharing this device". I have cut out a part of the log below which i believe to be relevant.
I am getting this error when I try to share a TV tuner.

Hello VH team,
I can not bind my smartcard, here is the server log :
I am seeing on two different servers that if I turn Auto Use on for 1 COM device, Auto Use turns on for all COM devices (turning it off for any of these devices will turn it off for all devices). It seems that non-COM devices are not affected by this bug, like one Android Phone that I have connected.
Is this something that has been seen before, and is there a fix for it? Both of these servers are each running on Raspberry Pi 3. Please let me know if you need any more information.
Thanks
Hi,
Yesterday I finally started trying VirtualHere and my mind was blown.
I managed to get a thumb drive working with the following setup:
Server: Android 5.1.1 (Sony TV)
Client: macOS 10.12 Sierra beta 8 (16A313a)
The transfer speed was steady, around 6MB/s.
However my USB sound card did not work. It was successfully discovered in the VirtualHere client but did not appear in audio devices in system preferences.
Is there anything I can do to get these working?
Hello
I would like to install VirtualHere on a XenServer Host to be able to passtrough USB devices to VM's. Since VirtualHere would be installed on the XenServer host the INI file containing the license would be in danger of being deleted with XenServer Hotfix and Upgrade installations (for this reason Citrix says not to install anything on the host). Is there a way to recover the license or would I be able to just re-enter it trough the VirtualHere client?
Greetings
Theo
Hello, i've just bought this software, and i'm using it to be able to play World of Warcraft witha Controller, via Wowmaper and ConsolePort.
The first app change some behave of the controller, to control the mouse through the sticks.
Problem is that using VirtualHere, the movement is very choppy.
If i move the mouse over the steam window, the movement is way smoother, but when i hover outside, onto the desktop or whatever, then becomes choppy again.
Using a regular mouse it moves smooth.
