It's been a while since I had to play extensively with Windows, but given the issues that USB issues that OSX has today relative to the VH client, I'm trying to install the VH client on a Windows VM under VMWare Fusion. My application is to remotely connect to Cisco routers that only have a USB port for a console port (as opposed to an RS-232 serial console port).

I installed VirtualHere on my HyperV host, purchased a license and started sharing USB device to my virtual Ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS (GNU/Linux 4.4.0-43-generic x86_64) guest.

I have 3 device's I share, 2 are connected but 1 device fails. It is a Arduino Leonard device which counts the S0 pulse from a current meter, I purchased it, not home made. When I connect it to a different computer it works. The RFXtrx433 device is working correct via VirtualHere, the 0x0a2b is not yet configured/in use.

Would it be possible to add a "RENAME SERVER" command in the client API? I'm using the windows service and the only way I can see to rename the server is to edit the config.ini and restart.

If you could add this, it would probably be best if it only works in admin mode. Also, it might be nice to have an option for the server like AllowServerRename, so that support for this command can be turned on and off (maybe only one of these two is necessary).

I have the server set up and working with several other devices, but when attempting to use the Belkin cable from a client it generates the following error in the server log:

I run a Pi2 as Virtualhere-Server (unlimited license) with 3 devices for receiving and sending telegrams for my homeautomation.

Til now I had a Pi3 with Jessie and Virtualhere-Client and the FHEM-Software running. It was running smooth except some hanging of the system because of the known kernelbug.

Now I set up a VM on a QNAP installed the Virtualhere-Client as a service and I can bind the devices to the VM.

Hello people i have recently found out that xbox one controllers dont work with this program, but ....

How can i set up my steam link with -

* xbox 360 wireless controller
* usb receiver
* trial version of virtualhere

i want to play forza horzion 3 with this 360 controller? how do i link this together? i have already set up the steam link big picture mode so it will load forza but it keeps thinking my xbox controller is a mouse??

I have to bother you again with another question. I am using Virtualhere on 10 Raspberry Pis. Seven are RasPis 2B+ and the other three are RasPis 3 B 1.2. All are connected fine over a VPN to a windows machine. All are on auto-use, to enable a scheduled task on the windows machine to download data once an hour. That works absolutely fine for the Raspberry Pi 2. But all three Raspberry Pi 3 are losing the "auto-use" option after a while, and therefore no data is downloaded.
Do you have an idea what could cause this and how I might be able to fix that?

Can't connect to Robo R1 Plus

Using my QNAP TS-453A, I can see the Robo 3D printer on my Mac via VirtualHere. Unfortunately, the MatterControl software by the vendor does not see it.

Any suggestions?
