Forgive me if this is a duplicate, but I wasn't able to find a direct answer to this while searching the forum.

Is there a way to rename a device without the UI and without needing to restart the server? Clearly the UI is doing it somehow, but right now if I want to edit the config.ini I have to then restart the server. This will be very inconvenient for my use case - for example, I wouldn't be able to rename a device while using any device (without interrupting the connection).

<p>A VirtualHere client located on an Ubuntu VPS is seeing frequent disconnects from the VirtualHere server, located on a Synology NAS on a standard ISP connection. The disconnects do not match up with any recognized WAN outage at the server location, but perhaps there are micro-outages occurring. When the USB device disconnects, Ubuntu considers the device "busy," which means I get a lot of errors in the scripts that are trying to use it. Furthermore when I reconnect it, it comes back as a different /dev/sd*, which is also a pain.

Hi... I'm writing because I just bought virtualhere through the steam store to use with my logitech 920 wheel connected on my steamlink. MY PC is an i7 5820 with 64GB of RAM and running Windows 10 x64, updated to the latest release.

I'm trying to share an Xbox controller using the Windows server (v3.0.2). I've tried an Xbox One controller and an Xbox 360 controller (both wired).

I have these messages in the log:

(Xbox one)

I'm wanting to hide a particular usb dongle from the VH list.

I can't use the "Ignore" option as there is another dongle of the same hardware type and i don't want this one hidden - so was thinking about using the "IgnoredBuses" option.

Any pointers of the format for specifying the Bus to ignore - the example in the FAQ for the RaspPi doesn't seem to be directly applicable to a Windows based server. Additionally, any pointers on how to identify the Bus to ignore?

Hi, I am having trouble connecting my bluetooth dongle to the VirtualHere server. When I check the log, it gives this error: INFO :Cannot capture device USB\VID_0A12&PID_0001\6&2C9DDD91&0&2 because it is of class Bluetooth
I am using a generic bluetooth dongle if that is of any help to know.

Been using virtualhere for awhile and it's been great, but between now and 2 weeks ago, the device/server/client hasn't been working well.
Some issues:
1) Unable to see android hub.
1a) Used reverse connection or specify hubs as a workaround and....
2) Can connect and device in use, but connection seems spotty. (This was with via android hotspot)
3) When using home network with internet, client is able to see, identify, and "use" device, but was unable to actually use the device.
