VirtualHere missing in Synology Diskstation DSM 6.0 package manager

Forums

Upgrading my Diskstation failed since VirtualHere had been installed via external file. While investigating I saw that VirtualHere should now be included in the package manager.

I uninstalled VirtualHere and upgraded diskstation.

Now I don't see VirtualHere anywhere in the package manager. While I could download the package and install manually, I would prefer to use the package manager.

DMESG errors

Forums

Hello,

I have a USB DVB device connected to a server side on a Rpi2.

It is connected to a Ubuntu 14.04 client, but generating lots of DMESG errors. This is even before a stream is started. Is it a bottleneck with the Pi or something else?

Regards

Craig

Trying to connect RPI2 to Ubuntu Server 14.04

Forums

Hello,

Perhaps I'm missing something, but I can't for the life of me figure out what's wrong. I have a RPi2 acting as a server running latest Rasbian Jessie, and a client running Ubuntu 14.04. I have tried also running the client on another Ubuntu PC 16.04, I don't have any Windows clients to try. I would be grateful for any assistance.

cheers

Craig

Linux server loses usb key until service restart

Forums

From time to time linux virtualhere server loses usb key until i restart vhusbdpin service

With lsubs USB key is always visible:
Bus 001 Device 097: ID 23a0:0004

power reset on USB port with following commands:
echo 0 > /sys/bus/usb/devices/1-3.2/power/autosuspend_delay_ms
echo auto > /sys/bus/usb/devices/1-3.2/power/control
echo on > /sys/bus/usb/devices/1-3.2/power/control

Does not help either. The only solution I've found so far is to reinsert USB key or restart vhusbdpin service

Feature request: More info to system log (to identify USB device)

Logitech C920 webcam h264 stream on android

Forums

Greetings..

Logitech c920 webcam connected to Raspberry Pi 3 with VirtualHere server -> Logitech webcam software on Window 7 x64 through VirtualHere client shows perfectly FullHD video with 500-700 kilobytes per second. That mean that h264 pin works.

Logitech c920 webcam connected to LG G3 with VirtualHere server -> Logitech webcam software on Window 7 x64 through VirtualHere client shows the FullHD video with 5-7 megabytes per second. That mean that h264 pin does not work and it is MJPEG pin working.

That's weird, isn't it?

Is it possible?

Forums

I've just discovered this app by chance and am curious if it's possible to share devices (in my case an XBox One controller) FROM my PC to my nVidia Shield TV ?

I have managed to share a standard XBox360 pad FROM my Android phone to my PC no problem but I can't share anything from my PC at all on any of my Android devices.

I'm guessing this is the part where buying a license comes in?
