After upgraded to windows 10 from windows 7 there is an error "Operation not permitted" while trying to start "Use" or "Auto-Use" the printer detected in client software. For a little time (couple seconds) a message "In use" appears near the printer's name in client software and suddenly disappears again.
On windows 7 everything works fine.

Ever since a recent Steam Link update, I can't use virtual here. I am getting the message "The server trial has expired" even though I already purchased an unlimited license. What can I do? Can you provide another key?

I see from searching the forum that renaming the attached USB devices has been a bit of an issue...

Am I right in thinking that, should a VID/PID/Serial number not be provided by the dongle, the server generates them - or works to that effect...?

We've got several (more than 10) which return properties of:
Vendor: AKS
Product: HASP HL 3.25
VID: 0529
PID: 0001
Serial: 81b...e8a0 - 9

All subsequent dongles connected after the 9th are also given the serial number ending in 9 - hence there are clashes and they can't be renamed.

My request, along with the previous one regarding alphabetising or grouping of dongle names, is to have a 'lite' version of the client which only allows 'Use' and 'Stop Using'. Or an option to grey-out certain options...

I am trying to get a 3M AT9000 Document Reader (http://multimedia.3m.com/mws/media/611505O/sell-sheet-at9000.pdf) working via a RaspberryPi B+.

The device is detected properly and i can install the drivers. If i run the 3M troubleshooting tool which is included it detects the device OK. But when i do a Camera test i get an error.

Unfortunately i cannot find any relevant logging on client nor server side. So i do not have much to go on. Any suggestions what to check?

I have question or request for feature for next version.

When I install the client software into Windows as service, through Group policy object, then I have problem with Message boxes.
After the software is registered as service, I get 3 message boxes with these messages.
- VirtualHere USB Sharing service successfully installed
- VirtualHere USB Sharing service is starting...
- VirtualHere USB Sharing service started successfully

For users it is disturbing.

do you have a back-version client for Mac OS 10.7. I have an older Mac Mini running as a home server for a number of tasks and would like to add a number of USB devices to via VirtualHere.

I`d tried to update my NAS (Synology DS414 DSM 5.2-5644 Update 5) to DSM 6.0. While checking the prerequisits, the installer aborts with an error, that VirtualHere isn`t compatible with DSM 6. I`d tried an update to VirtualHere version 2.7.9, but it obviously doesn`t work. Are there any plans for an update ? Doesn`t find anything in your Support-Forum.
