Support for VirtualHere hardware and software
If I buy a VirtualHere desktop license for my main desktop, can I access any peripheral from any cell phone?
Hello,
Here is my system configuration:
My system with the login and password was working fine before a VirtualHere update on my Synology.
When I try to connect to a dongle, I get the following message on the client side: "There was an error using this device."
Here is the VirtualHere server log (virtualhere.log):

Hi, I'm trying to connect a USB client (vhui64) from a Zorin OS (Ubuntu 22.04) Linux machine to a Windows 11 Professional USB Server. The server runs fine and acknowledges the connection. The client window is displayed and the USB devices are shown. When I try to connect I though, get an error message:
Sorry if this has been clarified somewhere else before:
I am running a USB server on a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W and my client is a M1 Macbook Air. Devices like flash drives and the likes work but my main goal is to have an iPod connected. When I test it, it shows up with all the info on the client, but when I click "use this device" it throws the error "Unable to enumerate device at address 11". I read something here about devices like iPads needing special setup, and now I'm wondering if this would apply here to the iPod too.
Hello Sir,
i am using server on windows 10. my problem is that i set my server name like irfan but clint change it. I again set it but clint again change it...
Please solve my problem to fix this that not anyone change my server name when i set server name.
thanks!
I confirmed that when setting the Keep Host Awake on Windows it does appear to work properly and stay set.
I'm using an 8gb Pi5 with a 128gb microSD as the server and a Windows x64 laptop as client. I loaded the img file to the Pi and the server shows up in the client software. When I try to load the bin file to update the firmware it says there is not enough storage and lists the available storage as negative. The card is empty other than the boot image so there is plenty of available storage. The client is not seeing usb devices from the server so I assume the firmware update is a requirement.
Any ideas why this is happening? Is there any work around?
Thanks.
HI Michael,
Have at last been able to get the process going to install the Modular KVM/IP units purchased. Have only installed 1 unit to test to make sure all is OK.
I was hoping to log the support using the https://modularkvmip.com link but still no luck, no portion of the site can be accessed from SA. The moment I fire up a VPN link, whether to US, UK, Netherland, Romania or Poland (all I tested) it works perfectly.
Test environment is as follows:
Hi,
I'm using VirtualHere successfully with a laptop as a server and VM as a client to program our access cards for door entry with a USB reader.
So to take things further i've tested a Raspberry Pi as the server using the same USB reader over wifi and it works great. But i now want to design a "compact version" using a Raspberry pi zero and a MFRC522 reader. My question is how do i get VirtualHere to see the MFRC reader as a device?
Hello,
I'm running virtualhere on a Raspberrry PI 3+ with RaspianOS Lite 64Bit.
I have a performance issue and after tryng everything mentioned in Forum and FAQs does not help.
Installation and also Connection was very fine. I connected my Lasercutter and that works without problems :)
But the camera that is assembled there - I can't get the pictures really good.
What I tested:
