Support for VirtualHere hardware and software
Greetings,
Thanks Michael for all the work you've done on this great piece of software.
Hi, I see there is an rpi3 and 4 image.
Will this work on the rpi5b 4gb ram model?
In the past I've had multiple rpi2 fail on me (mainly sue to faulty SD cards and power). If an SD card or Rpi needs to be replaced is the license transferable to the replacement machine?
Thanks.
Hello,
I'm running VirtualHere on my Macbook so I can keep my gaming pc in the basement with my sim racing rig but still play regular games at my desk with my Logitech gaming mouse + keyboard. I'm using VirtualHere to connect those devices to my PC so I can use Logitech G Hub with them (G Hub on on Mac has far fewer features).
Hi,
I have the issue that my dongle is not used. It has been working, but then stopped for some reasons. Restarting, stopping service takes quit long.
Also system hangs after sudo reboot. Don't know if virtualhere causing this issue too.
I would be grateful for any hints!

Hello,
I am trying to connect a TI IWR6843ISK board using the VirtualHere client (v5.6.1) on Windows. When the board is connected, 2 UART ports are displayed on the device manager as a Virtual COM Ports (enhanced COM port and the standard COM port). However, only one COM port appears beside the device name in the VirtualHere client and in the API output. Can you please help?

What is the command for starting/stopping the server, I tried sudo ./vhclientarmhf -t EXIT but I get command not found?
I'm still having an issue with the server rendering my Pi unusable when accessing via GUI, so I'm hoping I can just stop the server to access the Pi, then restart after.
Also, where do I find the list of commands for VH?
I just recently set up VH on a pi Zero W with a Zero4U usb hub. After installing the VH software on both the pi and my pc, I connected a pair of Virpil Constellation Alpha flight sticks. They both show up and are usable, but they register incorrectly: my right stick shows as the left and vice-versa. When physically connected to my pc they appear correctly and button pushes on the right stick register as the right stick in the Virpil software. Has anyone encountered a similar issue before?
I'm trying to setup CloudHub on a RPI Zero 2 W and want to attached a UPS, specifically the PiSugar3. I'm new to RPI's and have spent the past few days trying to figure out how to do this. Is this even possible with the CloudHub image? If not what are my other options? I have found references to Ad-Hoc networking, but haven't been able to find a good tutorial to get it working. Any help would be apprciated.
Thanks,
Hawkeye
Good night. Im trying to use virtualhere to solve my personal issue. Im playing a game thats have active anticheat, it blocks all remote clicks and macros etc. Now i use my android smartphone to remote controll my PC. Im using moonlight for gamestream and zerotier for VPN. I installed VH APK in my android and it works good. I put my mouse on smartphone and could control my pc. But when i try to do the same out of my local network i couldnt. Im newbie, i dont know if its trial limits (client as a service) or configs. But both machines are in same zerotier vpn adress.
I have a virtualhere server running on a NAS. I need to use this server to access a Safenet 5100 eToken which is connected to the NAS. This works great when I am connected to windows. I am able to find the token through the client then use it to sign my files. The problem is that I am setting up a docker container to automate processes and I simply cannot get my token to work correctly on this container.
The container is Debian-based. I start by downloading the client with wget:wget "https://www.virtualhere.com/sites/default/files/usbclient/vhuit64"
