Hi, I am using virtualhere server on a Raspberry Pi4 and the client on my Windows 11 PC and it works great.....for a few minutes, then the server appears to stop sending input commands to the client and it no longer works. The virtualhere client on the windows 11 PC still shows the Pi as a server and still shows the G29 wheel as 'in use'. To get it going again, I have to disconnect it in the virtualhere client and re-select 'use this device'.
Would there be any gain to separate virtualhere from my shield and run it on a separate wired machine? Everything in on LAN.
I have a Windows 2016 server where I want to use an HID 3121 card reader and MyEid Pin reset tool. When I share and use the card reader, Windows ees the card reader and can see when I insert and remove a smart card. I've been able to install the correct Windows driver for the smart card reader, but when I start myEid Pin Reset tool, it does not see any device. I've also tried OpenSC tools with the same result. I've looked in the forums and have tried a couple of things, like unchecking "use Smart Card" when I RDP to the server, with no luck.
Any ideas on how to proceed?
I saw there were some older posts in here about the Logitech G923 and VH. When I try to use the G923 I get this error in the log. I tried the server version on the microsoft store and the website. Windows also pops up a message saying that the USB device is not recognized.

I have a paid VirtualHere USB server running on a Windows 10 host. On my Windows 11 client (latest update) I auto-connect to one of the USB device of the server.
It works fine, but every time my laptop comes back from idle (ie. when I start moving the mouse again after a few minutes of inactivity), I have multiple windows popping up about vhui64 warnings. The warnings look like this :
Hi!
I am using a Telegram bot for onBind event notifications. Is it possible to add $NICKNAME$
, $PRODUCT$
and $CLIENT_HOSTNAME$
arguments to this event type? I am using now $ADDRESS$
, $PRODUCT_ID$
and $CLIENT_IP$
, but these arguments are not very sensible for reading in a notification.
Thanks for this awesome product,
Ilya
I have been using OpenTPCAST with VirtualHere for 2 or 3 years now and it works great. When I installed it originally I entered the "script?" to start SteamVR when I started VirtualHere. I don't want to start SteamVR when I start VirtualHere any longer. I followed the instructions in the guide to stop SteamVR from starting by opening Lighthouse FPGA RX, then Custom Event Handler and pasting "onClientAfterBind.$VENDOR_ID$.$PRODUCT_ID$=REMOVE" in the box. SteamVR continues to load when starting VirtualHere. I've looked but can't find anything that helps.
Hello,
I am trying to connect a graphics card to my PC using VirtualHere, but I'm facing issues as it isn't working, and I can't locate any related logs. I've attempted to address the problem by adding a Custom Event Handler with the code: "onReset.$VENDOR_ID$.$PRODUCT_ID$=". This adjustment has been helpful because previously, I would receive an 'Operation not permitted (-1)' error.
Currently, my PC can detect the monitor connected to the graphics card, but the card disconnects after a few seconds without ever displaying any picture.
